PLGW pewag winner profilift gamma inox

The PLGWI screw nut is the corrosion-resistant version of the pewag PLGW lifting point and comes with the same benefits regarding dimensions, load capacities and mounting, thus enormously widening the range of possible applications.

The PLGWI lifting point is available in the “Supreme” version with the patented option of tool-free assembly and in the “Basic” version where an Allen key is required for mounting and dismounting.

The PLGWI lifting point offers additional advantages compared to a standard DIN 580 screw nut:
• Significantly higher load capacity with the same thread size
• 360° rotatable – may be adjusted in the direction of the load
• 4-fold breakage resistance in all directions
• 100% crack-tested screw
• Wider range of possible applications thanks to duplex steel with higher corrosion-resistance and PRE/N value of approx. 34 for “Basic” version
(The PRE/N-Wert determines the alloy composition and thus the corrosion resistance.)

Each lifting point of the PLGWI series is marked with the admissible load capacity, the thread size and a unique serial number and comes with an operating manual that includes instructions for use as well as a table specifying the load capacities by type of application, number of legs and angle of inclination.

Permitted use
Load capacity according to inspection certificate or load capacity table in the specified pull directions – see operating manual
• Set lifting point to face the permitted load direction prior to loading
• May be loaded in all directions with 4-fold breakage resistance

Non-permissible use
When choosing the position of the lifting points, make sure to avoid incorrect loading, for instance if:
• There is no possibility to align in the pull direction
• The pull direction is not within the specified area
• When fitted over edges or surfaces
For further details and instructions, please consult the Operating Manual.
